Under the visionary leadership of young Ms Maitreyi Dutta–daughter of Dr Andrew Dutta and his wife Mrs. Moumita Dutta, our foundation has moved beyond professional consultancy. We now embrace a “Service-First” existence since the last 8 years. Today, our CSR division is led by this young teenage lady with the matured vision, energy and purpose of a social visionary.
We do not just talk about destiny; we actively work to change it for the most vulnerable members of our society.
The “Annapurna Path”: Serving the Destitute of Bhubaneswar
In the temple city of Bhubaneswar, thousands live on the fringes of existence. Our “Annapurna Path” initiative is a rigorous, ongoing commitment. We aim to ensure that no soul near the railway stations, overpasses, or temple gates goes to bed in hunger.
- Midnight Outreach Cycles: Every week, our team conducts “Night Care” drives. We traverse the stretches from Master Canteen Square to Vani Vihar, identifying the older people and the mentally chanllenged who have been abandoned. We provide more than just food. In addition, we provide dignity through clean blankets, hygiene kits, and basic medical checkups.
- The Sunday Mega-Meal Program: Every Sunday, we organize a community kitchen that prepares and distributes over 500 hot, nutritious meals (Dalma, Rice, and Sabji) to the beggars and lepers. These individuals congregate near the city’s major shrines.
- Identification & Re-homing: When we encounter destitutes with severe mental disorientation, we work in coordination with local shelters. We aim to move them off the streets and into safe, permanent care.
“The Guardian Project”: Lifeline for Roadside Stray Animals
Bhubaneswar’s strays are the “voiceless citizens” of our streets. Often ignored and frequently injured, they are at the heart of our philanthropic mission. We have institutionalized our care for them through The Guardian Project.
- Mobile Wound-Care Units: We operate a dedicated response team equipped with basic veterinary first-aid. For example, we treat maggot wounds on dogs. We also provide antiseptic care for injured cattle. We intervene directly on the streets where the suffering is most acute.
- The Winter Blanket & Jacket Drive: During the chilling winters of Odisha, the mortality rate of street pups and aging dogs rises. Therefore, we distribute hundreds of handmade burlap jackets and straw-bedding to keep them warm.
- Mass Feeding: We maintain a daily feeding route that covers the Janpath and Sachivalaya Marg areas. This ensures the local stray population is fed and healthy. By keeping them well-fed, we reduce human-animal conflict. This also helps foster a more compassionate city environment.
“Divine Grace” Global Outreach: Free Animal Energy Healing
While our physical work is centered in India, our spiritual reach is global. - A Sanctuary of Peace: For pets that have reached the end of their earthly journey, we provide “Transition Support.” We help them cross over to the other realm with peace. We also provide the owners with spiritual counseling to cope with the loss.
